The app to create my art that I'm building with Claude Code is expanding. It has been so much fun to build it. After years of instructing teams to build complicated apps and platforms, it great to direct my knowledge to building an app for art.

This piece features a "fireworks" behavior and triangles constructed within the app.

In the next day or two, I'll finish the Alpha version will be concentrated in making actual pieces with it.

The final prints have arrived! Here's a sneak peak of the actual prints to be installed at my public art installation on April 1 in JJ Walker Park. The installation features 10 native New York flowers developed through a process incorporating research, AI and digital tools.

This series explores the concept of flourishing. Flourishing is framed as an ongoing practice shaped by active cultivation. The series draws from the recognition that nearly all flowers we encounter are shaped through human intervention. Selective breeding has amplified color, scale, and form in response to human’s aesthetic preferences. Fleur-ish mirrors this impulse.

Continuing on my prototype of a generative art system using Claude, I created 4 short video tests based on elements from my Happy to See You series. For now, they are edited together sequentially. But I'll be collaging these clips together into one activated scene.

I've been using Claude, but need to move it over to Claude Code as it grows in complexity.

If any of my coding friends would like to share best practices, I'm all ears!

I use AI to generate initial sketches trained on my own style. This approach, recently mentioned in a New York Times article, feels closely related to my photography process.

In photography, I take hundreds of shots and then curate the few that express my vision. My AI process mirrors that: I generate hundreds of images through my style algorithm and prompt formula, then select the ones that resonate.

In both practices, the creative locus shifts from generating to evaluating. The camera mediates reality; the model mediates imagination. The resulting images from both can expand perception, yet authorship still depends on the artist’s ability to discern meaning and form.

Last March, my NFTs were projection mapped during the Color and Light Festival in Asbury Park, NJ. I found the medium a great fit for my work. It’s thrilling to transform architecture into a canvas and create an engaging community experience.

Airports have always fascinated me as unique spaces that concentrate every human emotion: from fear to excitement. I explored this concept in my recent proposal for a public art installation in an airport. How could abstracted elements of nature from the region reflect that emotional range.

Each traveler carries a private story, yet together they form a rhythm of movement and energy. Translating that into abstraction feels creates an intiguing mirror.
